Well Folks!

Just when I thought it was great to be American...freedom of speech, freedom to vote and PICK your party...all that jazz!

Well today I decided to pick up my sample ballot, you know, to read through it and be sure I understood everything before heading to the polling place...Well I did...and I think they made a mistake on my ballot! This is serious people, no joke...I am going to have to vote for some guy named "MAD MAX RIEKSE" for President! ...whaat????????? Who the hell is Mad Max? And do we even want a President named Mad Max?

So I researched a little further in a desperate attempt to find Hilary or even Obama Mama...and you know what? They just were not there! That is because I thought it would be cool to register as Independant, so rather waking up all "green" today, I woke up "red" in the face!

So I am just letting you know that the demise of the world, may possibly be my fault, because now we are going to have a President named Mad Max Riekse who sleeps with a Southern flag draped around his body. And I am serious people, if it is this easy to become President, then my next home is going to be AWESOME! And White!

Well I am not to sure what is written all over my face lately...I think it reads, " Please start crap with me" or something along those lines.  I have been teaching my son about the States Economy this week and found myself on a message board filled with mindless people ranting about unions and how terrible and useless they are! I wanted to reach out through the computer screen and cyber bully them to tears or at least scream, "You people aren't paying attention!" With the recession looming I read yet another article today written by some half wit Wall Street nobody wherein even HE didn't discount the importance of manufacturing to the American economy. In fact he said that it was the single most important factor concerning this downward spiral collision course we're on.  I am not sure people have not understood this, or maybe it is just the age old practice of difference in opinions I suppose.  But if you really think about it, it will come across very simple:

Unions give the middle class a voice and real power to be reckoned with. Who is going to fight to keep manufacturing jobs in America? "Service economy"- yeah thats working out just great. Oh and do you think you can make it on a wal-mart salary? I sure hope so, as you have now modeled your business in the likeness of wal-mart, the company that destroyed America.

The fact is, we have fallen for the government bait hook line and sinker. The teamsters DID hold more domestic sway than the executive in chief. A VERY good thing, unless you're a member of the Government and even that is questionable these days!!  Now even the public schools (indoctrination centers) have fully succeeded in assuring conformance. Private schools next? I believe so, as a matter of fact the Catholic schools are now regular parishioners of confomance!

Nowhere is worse than TN for workers. Why do you think these companies relocate here? "Right to work"- does anyone NOT know that what that really means is they can fire you for no reason and you have no recourse- do you really care? Companies there treat employees like dogs, but it's their own fault.

By all means let them continue to reap multi million dollar bonus packages while talking about the Union pricing itself out of a job. We NEVER needed Unions like we do now. Even with their help I'm reasonably sure the USA will be a third world country in 20 years or less.  Someone should have told those posters to PLEASE take an economics class or something! I was shocked at how many people believe this bologne! I feel that we really need to back the Unions for no other reason than we are losing our backbones in the workplace, so it seems.  And it is apparent to me that if a Company is so quick to try and push Unions out or condem Union Officials for silly petty things, this tells us something...THEY ARE WORRIED! They actually know how powerful unions are and that my friend, is why they want them gone! The old Hoffa would be turning over and over in his grave if he wasn't wearing cement shoes, hearing all this garbage!

Seriously THINK about it.
