Yeah That's what I'm talking about!
OLIO
This is an all time MUST for a good time at your next event! OLIO is from the greater Los Angeles area, they combine their superb talent with their incredible attitudes and it is a mix that is out of this world! Every time I click on one of their songs, I satrt dancing in my chair...NO LIE! I could go on and on about this band but it would just be talk...you NEED to see them live to truly understand! I work with so many bands and the one thing I look for is professionalism and attitude, almost the same thing but not quite...this group was absolutely a dream to talk to, work with...everything. They are affordable, honest and willing to bust a serious move for you...so take a look at what they can do and book them today!
Then How about some GOOD BLUES!
CHUCK ALVAREZ BAND

I love Rock N'Roll, and I like the Blues...so put them together and what do you get?
CHUCK ALVAREZ BAND!
San Pedro knows his name well, I know his name well and the world is soon to know his name well. This is a phenominal band that combines high energy rock with a twist of the down home blues, he is a must see...must have band!

Soon to be the hottest original jazz & blues band to hit the L.A. scene! After I had the pleasure of reviewing their CD, my first thought was why are these guys not getting national air play? The harmony that this group of six has is pure magic! This band seems to have the ability to transform from cocktail lounge singers to full blown concert sound and is most definately a must see performance! It was after listening and reading that I soon realized why they are not on the radio yet because the Industry is so used to the same old mundane sound that they have completely overlooked true talent at it's best so please allow me the honor of Introducing to you....
GROOVE BAZAAR
Meet the band...
oh, you lookin' at THE JAZZ ASSASSINS!

Well good for you! This is one of the TOP ensembles I have seen yet! They combined all the talent from the Boys & Girls Club of San Pedro and mixed it with the pure brilliance of a couple of guys that knew a thing or two about what the people want in GOOD music these days... and here we have The Jazz Assassins. I was happy to start the "Conga Line" at their show at the Warner Grand Theater for the "Battle of the Bands and ended the fiasco with a spot on my page, check these guys out at their website or MYSPACE and see why I DID IT...THEY ARE MY ALIBI! You are listening to "Pink Panther" by Jazz Assassins on this page. You find a more brilliant bunch than this...and I WANT TO SEE THEM! This group decided that Jazz was cool, but would be cooler with a twist of SKA and a little funk, or as I say...a little SOUL and WHALAA!
